Big Hill Trail Run - April 15
Register Online at www.bighilltrailrun.com
The Big Hill trail run is a 5km (3.1) course featuring paved, and mix natural surfaces (i.e. gravel, dirt, leaves) through Big Hill Pond State Park in Pocahontas, TN. The course has various natural obstacles including some off camber sections but for most part the trail is groomed. Trail shoes are recommended since there are mixed natural surfaces and two steep ascents and descents on loose terrain. The final ascent is on paved road. The Small Hill is a 1 mile fun walk that will include a t-shirt, walk will take place on the pavement, walk will not be timed.
Registering the day of the event will include t-shirts while they last. We will accept debit/credit cards the day of the event. All race proceeds will go towards the 2016-2017 McNairy Adult Leadership class project. The trail race will dedicate event earnings to the purchase of kayaks and canoes for Big Hill Pond State Park.
